Ingredients

350 g of Lesters shaved steak, heated 

1 bag (275 g) plain tortilla chips 

1 cup shredded cheese (marble cheddar or Tex-Mex blend) 

1/2 avocado, diced 

1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or jarred) 

1/2 cup thinly sliced red onions 

Lime, cut into wedges 

Fresh cilantro (optional) 

 

Toppings to serve with: 

Sour cream 

Homemade or store-bought salsa

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a baking sheet spread the tortilla chips in a single layer. Top with the hot shaved steak, jalapeños, and red onions. Generously sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  3. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.
  4. Remove from oven and garnish with diced avocado, fresh cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
  5. Serve immediately with small bowls of sour cream and salsa on the side.
