Ingredients

1 pack of fully cooked Lesters shaved steak, 350 g
6 bags of nacho cheese tortilla chips (Doritos-style), 72 g each
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 yellow onion, diced
½ green bell pepper, diced
½ red bell pepper, diced
1 avocado
Lime juice, to taste
2 green onions, finely sliced
1 tomato, diced
1 cup Tex-Mex style shredded cheese
Optional toppings (to taste):
Salsa
Sour cream
Pickled jalapeños
Fresh cilantro

Preparation

  1. In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Cook the onion and bell peppers for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Add the shaved steak and heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and lightly browned. Remove from heat.
  3. Dice the avocado and drizzle with a little lime juice to prevent browning.
  4. Cut open one side of each bag of tortilla chips to create “bowls.”
  5. Divide the meat mixture, green onions, avocado, tomato, and cheese among the chip bags. Top with the desired garnishes.
