Ingredients

4 slices of Lesters smoked meat
1 pack of 500 g Lesters cocktail sausages (about 24 sausages)
3/4 cup of maple syrup”

Preparation

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 205°C (400°F).
  2. Cut each slice of smoked meat into six pieces widthwise. Wrap a piece of smoked meat around each sausage. Secure with toothpicks. Brush the sausages with a bit of maple syrup.
  3. Place the sausages in the air fryer basket. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the sausages and continue cooking for another 3 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, bring the remaining maple syrup to a boil in a saucepan. Let simmer for 4 to 5 minutes over medium heat until it reaches a syrupy texture.
  5. Pour the syrup over the cooked sausages.
