Ingredients

1 roll of Pillsbury crescent dough
6 Lesters hot dogs
1 beaten egg (for brushing)
For serving: ketchup and mustard

Preparation

  1. Unroll the crescent dough.
  2. Pinch two triangles together to form a rectangle (repeat to make 2 large rectangles).
  3. Reserve a little dough for decorations (football laces).
  4. Cut each rectangle into 8 small pieces (total: 16 pieces).
  5. Cut each hot dog into 3 pieces (total: 18 pieces).
  6. Wrap each piece of hot dog in a square of dough to form a mini football.
  7. Use the reserved dough to make 1 long strip and 3 small strips on each piece (to resemble football laces).
  8. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  9. Cook in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, until the dough is golden and cooked through.
  10. Serve hot with ketchup and mustard.
